Calibration file preparation
Terms of use.
TUNING LAB — Version TL-2026-09-22-R6 · Français
1. Check the file before use
TUNING LAB modifies the file you provide according to your choices. It does not check the condition of your vehicle or guarantee any performance gains or the mechanical compatibility of your settings.
Before writing to the ECU, you must check the generated file, its changes and its compatibility with your vehicle, or have these checked by a competent person. Keep your original file. If in doubt, do not use the file.
The service does not recalculate checksums. Use flashing software that automatically recalculates them before programming.
2. Closed circuits only, never public roads
You agree to use modified files exclusively on closed circuits, never on roads open to public traffic. You must hold the necessary rights and authorizations for the file and vehicle.
Circuit use does not exempt you from complying with the law, including rules on emissions-control devices. The service provides no road approval or guarantee of insurance coverage.
3. Risks and liability
Modification or incorrect programming can cause breakdowns, engine damage, damage to the ECU or other components, and accidents. You are responsible for the settings you choose, checking them and using them.
The publisher is not liable for damage, including engine damage, caused exclusively by a defective file supplied by the user, unsuitable settings selected by the user, incorrect programming or use contrary to these terms.
This clause does not exclude the publisher’s liability where a breach of its obligations gives rise to liability. Your statutory rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
4. File retention
Received files, generated files and reports are retained to keep a record of processing. The IP address and estimated country are also retained for technical monitoring and abuse prevention; geolocation is performed locally. For custom requests, your email address and description are also retained to review your requirements and contact you; they are not used for advertising emails. Files are encrypted, accessible only to authorized administrators and are not published. You may request their deletion at s62labcontact@gmail.com, specifying their names and processing date. Keep your own backups. See the privacy policy.
